8am: In a newsletter, National Liberation Front (NLF) claims during a preplanned attack on Qari Zainullah, Taliban Security Commander for Istalif’s residence, they killed five bodyguards of the commander. As stated in the newsletter, the attack was carried out around 7:00 PM on Saturday evening, April 23.
8am: The issue of nomads entering the agriculture fields in diffident parts of the country, particularly Hazarajat has been a historical issue, which has roots in decrees of displacement issued by and in the time of Abdur-Rahman, a brutal king who forcefully displaced Hazaras from their ancient geographic areas and distributed their lands amongst the Pashtun ethnic. 
Ariana: According to a circular sent to universities by the Ministry of Higher Education, female students will attend classes on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays, while male students will have lectures on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. According to VOA, officials at Kabul University confirm they received the directive.
