8am: The National Resistance Front has claimed that its forces have defeated the Taliban fighters in clashes in areas of Andarab, Baghlan province. According to Sibghatullah Ahmadi, the NRF spokesman, the Resistance Front forces in attack and defense in the areas of Pol-e Hesar, Khair Dara, and Dara Jar-e-Andarab, and in some other areas have got victories against the Taliban. Recently, the clashes between the NRF forces and the Taliban have increased in different parts of the country, especially in Andrab Baghlan, Panjshir and Takhar. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) led seven of her Republican colleagues in questioning the State and Defense departments about a disclosure that the Taliban is using biometric data left behind by the United States during its withdrawal from Afghanistan to target American allies who remain in the war-torn nation.
8am: Burqa is neither an Islamic hijab nor part of Afghanistan’s culture. It is a tribal tradition that is forcefully imposed on women in remote areas, particularly in Pashtun-dominated society only. Following the reactions to the Taliban’s compulsory hijab, the Women’s Movement for Justice and Freedom has said that the Taliban have insulted all Muslim women and girls in Afghanistan with their baseless vague religious decrees. 
8am: Local sources in Panjshir province have claimed that the Taliban fighters have tortured and killed innocent civilians in the province. According to sources, the Taliban have killed 8 civilians, including a woman, in Abdullah Khil valley in Dara district of Panjshir for the last couple of days. The victims are Mullah Faqir, Sami, Jalil Ahmad, Saududdin, Gul Zaman, Khalid, Abdul Raouf, Gul Mohammad along with his wife.
Ariana: Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB), the country’s central bank, took delivery of another cash aid shipment of $32 million on Monday. Officials from the bank took delivery of the package and immediately handed it over to a commercial bank, DAB officials confirmed. This comes after Saturday’s shipment of the same amount. Under the guidance of the United Nations, Afghanistan has received over $800 million in cash aid over the past few months. 

Tolo News: Afghan citizens complained of an increase of worn-out banknotes in Kabul markets, saying the issue has caused them serious challenges. “Almost 80% of the Afghanis are worn-out. There are no new banknotes in the markets,” said Jaafar, a resident of Kabul. “It is not clear if new Afghanis have been printed or not. But worn-out banknotes are increasing in transactions,” said Agha Sheerin, a resident.
