“Women Have No Right to Sue Men”, Says Taliban in Herat
8am: The Taliban have recently issued an order in Herat province, saying women do not have the right to sue men. Sources in Herat province told Hasht-e Subh that Taliban judges did not hear women’s complaints against their husbands. According to sources, dozens of women had filed lawsuits for domestic violence against their husbands in an appeals court in Herat province, but their complaints were not heard by Taliban judges. AFF Forces Kill Three Taliban Fighters and Injure Five Others in Parwan

8am: In a newsletter, the Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) has claimed that the front’s forces attacked the Taliban’s bases in the Jabal Saraj district of Parwan province, killing three Taliban fighters and injuring five others. MoI Denies Alleged Beheadings of Resistance Front Members
Tolo News: The [Taliban] Ministry of Interior (MoI) denied the alleged reports of the beheading of three members of the Resistance Front and the killing of civilians in Panjshir province. This comes as 60 human rights defenders in a letter to the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres claimed that the forces of the Islamic Emirate are targeting the Tajik ethnic group in Panjshir, Baghlan and Takhar provinces. Flash floods in Badakhshan destroy farms, houses and irrigation canals
Ariana: Badakhshan officials confirmed Thursday that flash floods in the province have caused widespread destruction and financial losses across Zebak district. According to the head of Zebak development council, Fazal Ahmad Faizi, the worst hit areas in the district were Gul Khana, Dand, Dasht-e-Khan, Now Abad, and Khalkhan villages. Taliban Fighters Storm a Wedding Party in Badakhshan, Saying “Women Were Not Wearing Hijab”
8am: Sources on Wednesday (June 15th) said that a wedding party was being held in the new city of Faizabad, which was stormed by the Taliban’s virtue promoters. Taliban forces have forcefully prevented the wedding from taking place. According to sources, the Taliban claimed that the women attending the wedding party did not wear the hijab. Foreign Policy: Exiled warlords, power brokers, and ethnic leaders who fled Afghanistan last year ahead of the Taliban’s victory are threatening civil war unless the Islamists start negotiating to let them return home and reclaim their power and authority as an alternative to the nihilistic rule of the terrorists currently in charge. Russia Would Recognize Kabul Regardless of US, World Stance
