Ariana: Three hundred people have reportedly been hospitalized and are being treated for cholera in Kandahar and Helmand provinces, officials said Tuesday. Severe Floods Destroy 15,000 Acres of Agricultural Land in Maidan Wardak
8am: As a result of heavy floods on Sunday in Maidan Wardak’s Jaghatu district, huge financial losses have been caused to farmers in the district, local sources reported Monday. According to the sources, at least 1,500 acres of wheat and potato fields and apple orchards with their crops have been destroyed due to this natural disaster. A young man shot dead by Taliban forces in Khost district of Baghlan province
Aamaj: Taliban shot a young man named, Sayed Amanullah Usmani, in Baghlan province. Sources told Aamaj News that the incident took place in Suchi Baala village of Khost district, Baghlan. 20 Cholera Infected Patients Die in Helmand Province

Kabul University faces shortage of professors
Ariana: A number of Kabul University students raised their concerns on Sunday and said in addition to a shortage of lecturers and professors, they also have very little purified drinking water and that hostel accommodation is overcrowded. The students say that many professors have left the country and those who are now teaching do not all have the necessary qualifications and expertise. “Our lessons are progressing very slowly and that’s why we fell one semester behind,” said Faisal Amarkhil, a student at Kabul University.
