Tolo News: Cultural activists and residents of Balkh said that the remains of the building of Maulana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi’s father, Khanqah of Bahauddin Walad, are collapsing. According to the residents, the Khanqah of Bahauddin Walad building is visited by many tourists every year and it is an important historical monument and it should be restored. Tolo News: The general directorate of police traffic said that since the beginning of 1402 (solar year), nearly 400 people have died and over 900 others have been injured in more than six hundred traffic incidents throughout the country. According to the figures of the directorate, 13 children and 57 women died in these events.
8am: Sources on Wednesday, June 14, informed Hasht-e Subh that Aziz Al-Rahman Muhajir, the head of the Taliban’s Moral Police in Herat, has instructed wedding hall owners that playing simple drums at wedding ceremonies is permitted, but bells are not to be played. He has also warned the owners of wedding venues in the city to identify women who are not properly veiled during wedding events.

8am: According to sources, the Taliban has undertaken multiple objectives by replacing their local forces in Badakhshan province. An informed source revealed to Hasht-e Subh Daily, “In addition to these goals, they are relocating their camps to gain forces and sanctuaries. They are also imposing cultural changes on the region, destroying or smuggling historical documents and artifacts. Those who remain in the area naturally form new relationships and alter their ethnic composition. These are their long-term ambitions, and they eliminate anyone who opposes them, attributing it to ISIS. Meanwhile, the Hasht-e Subh Daily has received information from other sources stating that several Taliban intelligence and security officials have recently visited resource-rich areas in Badakhshan province. According to these sources, the officials are seeking to establish their own forces in order to control and exploit underground resources. 
Khaama: The Austrian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that an Austrian man who visited Afghanistan early this year is currently being detained in the country. According to the report, he has been detained for a few weeks since a far-right publication published an article titled “Vacation with the Taliban”, in which he presented a favourable portrayal of life in Afghanistan under Taliban control. He is allegedly being held for espionage, and Austrian neo-Nazis have made his case public via Telegram groups.
Tolo News: Families of victims of night operations of foreign forces in Chak Maidan Wardak district are demanding justice from international courts and human rights organizations. They called the event a war crime and asked the international courts to punish the perpetrators for their actions. Shams Rahman, one of the relatives of the victims, said that as a result of the night operations of foreign forces in 2016, three women were killed and four others, including children, were wounded.
