Reuters reported on Monday, October 27, that for the players who had been deprived of playing for years following the Taliban’s ban on women’s sports, being present on the field itself meant a victory. Afghanistan International: The Taliban have submitted a draft agreement to the Pakistani delegation after 15 hours of talks in Istanbul, outlining proposals to strengthen the ceasefire and prevent cross-border hostilities, informed sources told Afghanistan International. According to the sources, the draft proposal emphasises the “non-violation of Afghanistan’s territory and airspace” and includes a commitment to prevent the use of Pakistani soil by Taliban opponents.
8am: According to the sources, the arrest took place after recent tensions and clashes between Pashtun and Uzbek Taliban fighters in the district. They added that Karimi was detained for allegedly mocking Tajik members of the Taliban. Ethnic and factional disputes among Taliban fighters in Badakhshan have intensified in recent months and, in some cases, have led to armed confrontations.
Amu: The victim, identified as Kamin Jan, previously served as a bodyguard to Gen. Daoud Daoud, the former commander of the 303 Pamir Regional Zone in northern Afghanistan under the previous government. The sources said Jan was killed on Saturday in an armed attack by unidentified gunmen in the Chashma-e-Garmak area of Farkhar district. One of the sources alleged that the assailants were affiliated with the Taliban, although the Taliban have not publicly commented on the incident.
Ariana: Afghanistan will be represented by 69 athletes competing across 13 sports at the upcoming Islamic Solidarity Games 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event, organized by the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association, will bring together athletes from member nations of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for one of the largest multi-sport gatherings in the Muslim world. 
8am: Forced marriages and child marriages under the Taliban regime have increased at an unprecedented rate and have become one of the most serious human rights crises. According to sources, the Taliban not only fail to address these cases, but they are themselves a fundamental part of this problem.
