Bakhtar News Agency: Kabul (BNA) While Taliban have being accused by international sources and organizations for using children in battlefields, recently the national defense ministry troops released 35 civilians from the captivity of notorious Taliban in Helmand province. According to BNA report, recently the forces of national defense ministry conducting a special operation in Nad Ali district Helmand province release 35 civilians from the captivity of Taliban. There were five women, and five men among the released people. The aim of Taliban for captivating those people has not yet known. They likely accused for spying to the state or their relatives working in state run departments. There is also a possibility using them for military purposes or using as human shield in fighting against Afghan security forces. It should noted that recently International Amnesty presenting a report has said that Taliban widely use children in battlefields. The report says the Taliban use children for discovering explosive materials, finding out the position of troops and as human shield against the attacks of state troops.
