Hashmat Khalil Karzai Awarded ‘Martyr of The Nation’ Title

Tolo News: President Ashraf Ghani on Thursday awarded the title of ‘Martyr of The Nation’ title to Hashmat Khalil Karzai, former chairman of Kandahar provincial council and cousin of former president Hamid Karzai. Hashmat Karzai was assassinated inside his home in the southern Kandahar province in 2014 by a suicide bomber hiding the explosives inside his turban.
