IECC Adds 104 Dropped Names to Candidates’ List

Ghani Picks New Head of IEC Secretariat

Hekmatyar Claims IEC’s Figure for Registered Voters Is False

Leaked Documents Show IEC Records Moved ‘Illegally’

Tolo News: When asked for comment, the IEC acknowledged that the transfer of records from one office to another was against the law. IEC publishes preliminary list of candidates for upcoming elections

Khaama Press: The Independent Election Commission says the preliminary list of candidates for Kabul, Bamyan, Kunar, Nuristan, Uruzgan, Khost, and Nimroz provinces have been finalized.
