Khaama: The Ministry of Interior of the Taliban administration recently announced in a press conference that in the past six months, 949 people have lost their lives due to traffic accidents across the country. Traffic incidents are considered one of the main causes of death in Afghanistan, with at least one or several incidents being recorded daily in various parts of the country. A multitude of factors exacerbates traffic incidents in Afghanistan. These include the absence of comprehensive traffic laws, widespread reckless driving practices, poorly maintained roads, inadequate signage, and rampant speeding.
