8am: The Taliban’s Supreme Court recently confirmed the administration of a public whipping as punishment for alleged “immorality” in Sar-e Pul Province. In a statement released on Sunday, March 3rd, the Taliban’s Supreme Court disclosed that the aforementioned individual underwent the whipping in the presence of local Taliban officials, relatives of the accused, and select members of the Taliban court in Sar-e Pul Province.
