Tolo News: The Tomb of Nasir Khusraw, one of the historical sites in Yamgan District, Badakhshan, is facing the risk of collapse. Local residents said that no attention has been paid so far by the authorities and relevant institutions for the restoration of this tomb. According to historical narratives, Nasir Khusraw was born in 1005 CE in the province of Balkh and lived at the courts of the Ghaznavid kings and later the Seljuk court. He eventually turned away from the Seljuk court and went to Yamgan District in Badakhshan, where he spent the last 25 years of his life. Click here to read more (external link).
