Tolo News: President Ashraf Ghani’s appointment of Ahmad Yusuf Nuristani, former Head of the Independent Election Commission (IEC), as Afghanistan ambassador to Spain has been challenged by the Office of the Chief Executive. While the Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not yet comment on the appointment of Nuristani, the Office of the Chief Executive (CEO) said the step was at odds with the commitments of the National Unity Government (NUG) to fight corruption.
