Internet growth slow in Afghanistan: Report

1TV: Afghanistan ranked 157th out of 167 countries in 2015 on internet coverage, same position it held five years back, according to a report by the U.N. organization for telecommunications. Ministry Of Agriculture Opens Afghanistan’s First Mycotoxin Lab

Bakhtar News Agency: The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) inaugurated its first Mycotoxin testing lab at the Badam Bagh Fairground in Kabul, Afghanistan. This lab will be used to identify and assess the quantity of Mycotoxin in products aimed for export markets. Afghan electricity signs $82 million contracts on transmission

1TV: Two electricity transmission contracts worth $82 million were signed between Afghan national power utility and Indian, German companies. The contracts cover connecting 500KW from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan, 220KW from Sheberghan city to Mazar-i-Sharif city and building substations in Andkhoy and Sheberghan cities.
