Gunfire from Taliban Guards Injures Six Civilians in Helmand: Local Reports

8am: Reports indicate that the Taliban guards opened fire on civilians who were attempting to prevent the destruction of a wheat silo. Allegedly, the silo was being demolished to facilitate the widening of the Kandahar-Herat highway. This incident follows yesterday’s occurrence in Paktia, where four civilians were also wounded due to Taliban gunfire targeting civilians.

Taliban Confirm 2 Americans Among Foreign Detainees in Afghanistan
