Afghanistan signed two agreements and four memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with Kazakhstan on Friday.
The two agreements were on cooperation in the fields of culture and civil defense, prevention and emergency response, and the four MoUs were in different sectors.
According to information released by the Presidential Palace “ARG”, one MoU was signed between Afghanistan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation & Livestock and Kazakhstan’s National Company, “Food Contract Corporation”.
Second was between Afghanistan’s National Standards Authority & Committee of Technical Regulation and Metrology of Republic of Kazakhstan.
The third one was between Afghanistan’s Independent Administrative Reform & Civil Service Commission and Kazakhstan’s Agency for Civil.
Fourth one was between Afghanistan’s Institute of Diplomacy and Kazakhstan’s Academy of Public Administration.
President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani heading a high level government delegation left to Kazakhstan late on Thursday for an official visit on the invitation of his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev.
