Afghanistan International: Local sources in Badakhshan reported clashes on Monday, 7 September, between Afghanistan Freedom Front forces (AFF) and the Taliban in Zebak district. According to the sources, the fighting began on Monday in Zebak. Sources from the AFF also confirmed that its forces were engaged in clashes with the Taliban in the district.
