UNICEF: Afghanistan Facing One of the World’s Largest Return Crises

8am: Tajudeen Oyewale, the representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), has said that Afghanistan is experiencing one of the largest return crises in the world. On Saturday, May 23, Oyewale wrote on his X account that UN teams are working to ensure that returning children and families have access to health, nutrition, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), and protection services.
