Abdullah warns of crisis as Ghani set to launch controversial e-ID cards

1TV: Senior government officials including President Ghani, his deputy Sarwar Danish and National Security Adviser Hanif Atmar and some ministers have undergone biometric procedure for the new cards over the last couple of days. It comes despite dispute over inclusion of the term “Afghan” as nationality on the cards. A presidential decree calls for inclusion of the term. Click here to read more (external link).
