The Washington Post: “Music has always been in the blood of Afghans, but it was silenced for a long time,” said Massood Sanjer, program manager for Tolo Television and a founder of the show, in its 13th season. “ ‘Afghan Star’ has created a revolution in music at the same time the country has moved to democracy.” But not everyone is thrilled by the show’s success or message — especially the exposure of young women as performers on national TV. Yes !

That is the only area where Afghan puppet regime have had achieved some noticeable excellence- and well deserve the NATO’S grand medals.
.
.
.
The arrogant powers will never allow the youths of Afghanistan to achieve that kind of excellence in science and technology because- it would be simply deemed as indirect threat to the political security and interests of the invaders.

Western- imitations under military imposed bonanzas are politically-motivated agendas which are absolutely unhealthy to the foundation and wellbeing of the country in general.

HERE ARE THE REASONS:
…….
…….
Afghanistan is still relatively kept a “poor” country comparable to neighboring and all many other nearby countries in the region- consequently, excessive indulgences in extreme cases of pleasure-seeking venues will attaract the wrong affluent and rogue elements from those areas which then would definitely cause extreme social abnormalities; ills and all forms of problems that are not endemic and seen locally before.
And of course, It will serve the interest of foreigners and will definitely lead to exploitation of women and other vulnerable ones, who are mostly rurally-raised regular good folks of Afghanistan.
.
.
Keeping everybody happy, (under otherwise dismal and brutal conditions of the unrests in the country), not only will help the arrogant occupiers busy and content but also prolong the duration of the forced entry of the stationed international mercenaries; surrogate local recruits and camp-followers..
.
It probably would attract lots of local young people as well but it won’t be healthy for them at all – just because it is not a byproduct of the Afghan culture. The phenomenon has evolved in the US and looks good there but not to the universally conservative folks of Islamic Afghanistan who have totally different values in mind.
.
.
It will confuse and send the wrong message to the youth and make it difficult for the traditional parent to guide their kids to the right path over this overwhelmingly-imposed music lyrics that worship materialistic western styles and trends that ironically would be unavailable and off limit to overwhelming majority in Afghanistan, especially to the economically stressed hyoung people.
