WASHINGTON, July 12 (Sputnik) – An American troop was killed on Thursday after an operation in Afghanistan, the US military said in a press release. “A US service member died today of a wound sustained during a combat operation in eastern Afghanistan, July 12,” the release said. “In addition, an Afghan security force member was killed and several were wounded.”
