Tolo News: Security forces have been put on red alert ahead of Eid-al-Fitr festival to ensure the safety of the public during the event and to thwart possible plots of the insurgents, security officials announced on Tuesday. “Our duty is to maintain the security of Afghanistan, therefore all security forces are put on red alert to help people spend their Eid celebrations in a peaceful environment,” said Dawlat Waziri, spokesman to ministry of defense.
