Khaama: Taliban forces killed Akmal Ameer, a prominent anti-Taliban commander, along with his eight comrades in the Parwan province of Afghanistan. Akmal was a former commander of the Afghan National Defense Security Forces (ANDSF) who had joined the National Resistance Front (NRF) after the fall of the previous government.
