Amu: Taliban fighters and Pakistani forces exchanged fire Thursday morning along the border in Afghanistan’s eastern Kunar province, local sources said. The clashes began around 7 a.m. in the Doklam area of Narai district and continued intermittently, the sources said. They added that Pakistani troops opened fire, alleging the presence of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) members in the area. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
