22 Afghan police killed as Talban attack checkpoints in Kandahar

1TV: Twenty-two police were killed when Taliban attacked checkpoints overnight in Afghanistan’s southern Kandahar province, the provincial police said Tuesday. Fifteen more police were injured in attacks which targeted checkpoints in Maiwand and Zherai districts. The clashes also left 45 militants killed and 35 more injured.
