Tolo News: Around 500 people were arrested on charges of violating tenancy laws while 600 Afghan nationals were apprehended for staying illegally in the Nowshera district of Pakistan, an official said on Sunday. Pakistan media reports state that District Police Officer (DPO) Wahid Mehmood said the arrests were made during a two-day joint search operation carried out by the security forces, officials of the intelligence agencies, Elite Force, and police.
