1TV: The Friendship date at the Chaman border to re-open on September 1, following the accord of Afghan and Pakistani officials, Dawn reported citing Frontier Corps Spokesman Khan Wasay. The border was closed on August 18 after Pakistani officials claimed that Afghan protesters have attacked the gate and set the Pakistani flag on fire.
