Afghan envoy considers leaving office as Pakistan resumes construction near border

1TV: Afghan ambassador in Islamabad on Thursday suggested he could resign his position in protest against Pakistan’s resumption of construction near the border. Omar Zakhilwal said Wednesday’s agreement was on ceasefire and high-level talks to resolve the issue. “There was no agreement on resumption of construction by Pakistan,” he said on Facebook.
