Sooltahn Mahmood of Ghazna
and
his
father
built
a
huge, United
and
powerful
empire. The next decade-long internal wars
of
attritions that followed, caused
stagnations and disintegrations- all due
to
greedy family
feuds
and
hot clashes
of
the two twin brothers
to
gain the upper hand.

Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia and Pakistan basically were living under one common history in the same area and still culturely
closely-aligned.
Under the reign of Massood I, they lost Iran and Central Asia to Turkish Seljuq dynasty after
the
Battle of Dandanaqan (1040)
near Metv in Khorassahn (south of today’s Turkmenistan.

Iran remained under
Turkish and
Khawarizm Shahans
of
Central Asia
up until the invasion and annexations
of
the Mongols in and around 1220- the Mongol rule lasted till the invasion
of
the
Ameer Taymoor of Summarkand
(around early 1360’s to around 1400A.D., who defeated and drove elite Mongol elite underground
in
Iran.

Herat was always
a
part of the
greater KHORASSAN
during 1400’s
and
never came under full control of the
Safawis and/or later
KAH-JARIS who actually invaded the region with.the initially-active blessings of the English empire
in
India
back then in early 1830’s and 1840’s was conceiving a huge plan of conquest of Afghanistan.
They never succeeded in Herat.

I would like to add that the English historians have had been distorting the facts of the attacks
of
Afghanistan during numerous attacks of their Indian troops and/or their proxies around the undefined borders of Afghanistan, back then
in
1800’s.
