Afghan president strongly condemns terrorist attack in Paris

14th November, 2015 · admin

KABUL, Nov. 14 (Xinhua)– Afghanistan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Saturday condemned in its strongest term the series of terrorist attacks in Paris that claimed more than 150 lives and injured some 200 others Friday night, a statement of Presidential Palace released here said.

“The barbaric and indiscriminate killing of innocent citizens in Paris is virtually horrible and demonstrates the fact that the terrorists are the enemies of humanity and do not recognize any border,” president Ghani said in the statement.

Afghan president, in a message sent to his French counterpart, also expressed sympathy with the people and government of France, adding the Afghans as victims of terror share the pain of French people.

In the message, President Ghani also termed terrorism as common threat to the region and world and called for joint efforts against the menace, the statement asserted.
