1TV: Afghanistan’s economy grew by 2.9 percent in 2019, the World Bank said in a report released on Wednesday. Previously, the Bank had forecasted 2.5 percent growth for Afghanistan in 2019. Last year’s growth was driven mainly by strong agricultural growth following recovery from drought, but lingering political uncertainty dampens private confidence and investment, the Bank said.
