Biden to Grant Temporary Deportation Relief to Afghans in the United States

Reuters: The grant of so-called Temporary Protected Status (TPS) will be available to 72,500 Afghans who entered on what is known as “humanitarian parole,” another temporary status, as part of the U.S. evacuation of at-risk Afghans last summer, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said on Wednesday. Over 500,000 Afghan Refugees Returned in Last 6 Months

Tolo News: More than 500,000 Afghan refugees have returned to the country within the past six months, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MRR) said on Thursday.  Also, the deputy Minister of MRR who visited Torkham crossing on Thursday told reporters that diplomatic efforts are underway to facilitate the release of Afghans being held abroad.

Afghan Brothers Go On Trial In Germany For Honor Killing Of Sister

Reuters: The defendants, identified as Sayed H. and Seyed H. under German privacy laws, are accused of luring their 34-year-old sister to meet them last July in Berlin and choking her and cutting her throat, the Berlin prosecutor’s office said.
