Afghanistan’s National Cricket Team
Tolo News: President Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday night awarded the Mir Masjidi Khan State Medal to members of the national cricket team following their participation in the ICC World Cup T20 tournament in India. Ghani said during the ceremony at the Presidential Palace that the cricketers were a team of champions. “You not only made Afghans proud but you also gave them hope,” he said.
