The Afghanistan versus Oman 3-day (Nov 16, 17, & 18) tour match ended in a draw today at United Arab Emirates’ Ajman Oval Ground. It started out with Afghanistan winning the coin toss and choosing to bat first. In Afghanistan’s 1st innings, Afghanistan scored 393 runs (all out; 113.2 overs). Oman scored 178 runs (all out; 66.5 overs) in their 1st innings. In Afghanistan’s 2nd innings, they scored 204 runs (5 wickets dec; 50 overs). Finally, in Oman’s 2nd innings (with a target of 420 runs), they scored 193 runs (6 wickets; 53 overs). Time ran out on the 3rd day, and the game was declared a draw. In cricket, if time runs out before the two teams are able to complete two innings, it’s a draw.
