Taliban refuse to cease fire in Ramazan, vows to step up attacks

1TV: Taliban on Monday rejected a ceasefire appeal for the holy month of Ramadan saying they would instead step up attacks, according to Pakistani media report. The appeal was made earlier by the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) that has called on parties to the conflict in the country to put down their arms during the holy month of Ramadan.
