Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, visited this afternoon those injured in yesterday’s protests and presently undergoing treatment in Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan hospital.

President Ghani asked about the condition of five of our countrymen who were injured in yesterday’s protests and wished them full health.

President Ghani called on the leadership of the hospital and the doctors in charge to spare no efforts and utilize all available resources to provide treatment for the injured.

While visiting the injured countrymen, the President said that peaceful demonstration in the framework of law is the civil right of every citizen.

The President also visited the other patients hospitalized in Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan hospital and wished them full health.
