Ottawa Citizen: There was an interesting report from Reuters news agency which highlighted the growing importance of unmanned aerial vehicles, aka drones. Drones have fired more weapons than conventional warplanes for the first time in Afghanistan, the news agency noted. Citing U.S. military officers, it suggests that the UAVs will play a greater role in the future in Afghanistan than manned bombers or fighter jets. Click here to read more (external link).
