Special Inspector General For Afghanistan Reconstruction

Tolo News: The United States (U.S) Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) has painted a grim picture of the security situation in Afghanistan as Kabul grapples to bring the Taliban to the peace talks table. SIGAR chief John F. Sopko’s assessment finds that the security climate in the country has been so unstable and roads so dangerous that SIGAR’s staff take helicopters to the airport rather than drive.
