Amu: Afghanistan’s national buzkashi team withdrew from the 2026 World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan on Thursday, saying organizers had failed to provide suitable horses for its riders, the Afghanistan Buzkashi Federation said. Ghulam Sarwar Jalal, head of the Afghanistan Buzkashi Federation, said the team refused to play its scheduled match against Mongolia because appropriate horses for the Afghan chapandaz, or buzkashi riders, were not available.
