8am: Iranian security forces claimed that six members of a terrorist group were killed in a clash with Iranian border guards in the border region of Zabol, in Sistan and Baluchestan province. Military officials in Sistan and Baluchestan stated that a team of individuals affiliated with a terrorist group had intended to cross into Iranian territory and attack border posts.
