200 new HIV cases identified in Afghanistan this year

Khaama: The Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan announced that 200 new cases of HIV/AIDS have been identified in the country this year, and currently, 1,400 individuals infected with the virus are receiving treatment. Meanwhile, the BBC World Service has categorized Afghanistan among the countries that have seen an increase in HIV/AIDS cases in recent years. Click here to read more (external link).
