Kabul electricity likely to be reconnected today: officials

lightbulbKhaama Press: Javid Faisal, spokesman for Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah, told reporters in Kabul that the power lines have been fixed. Citing officials from Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), Faisal further added that the electricity will likely be reconnected by the end of the day. The electricity pylons were destroyed by the Taliban militants last month after the Afghan security forces launched an offensive to clear Dand-e-Ghori district.
