Power Technology: Global technology company Siemens has received an order from Bayat Power to supply SGT-A45 mobile unit for the Bayat Power Phase 1 project in Afghanistan. Equipped with an aero-derivative gas turbine, the SGT-A45 mobile unit has the capacity to generate up to 41MW, enough to power approximately 200,000 homes in the region.The gas-fired power plant with the unit supplied by Siemens is expected to commence electricity production in the next few months.
