India scores 347 runs on opening day of the historic test match

Khaama Press: India won the toss and elected to bat first as their opening batsmen Murali Vijay and Shikar Dhawan managed to score the highest runs with Dhawan scoring 107 runs from 96 balls while Vijay scored 105 runs. Kolesh Rahul scored 54 runs, Cheteshwar Pujara 35 runs, Ajinkya Rahane 10 runs, Dinesh Karthik 4 runs, and Hardik Pandya remained not out after scoring 10 runs with Ravichandran Ashwin who scored 7 runs.
