Cricket: Another loss for Afghanistan’s U19 team

Afghanistan lost to Bangladesh today by 8 wickets in the 5th match of the Tri-Nation Under 19s tournament, currently being held in India. Afghanistan won the coin toss and chose to bat first. Afghanistan scored 99 runs (all out; 26.2 overs). The highest contributor of runs was Tariq with 27, followed by Hazratullah with 16. When their turn came to bat, the team from Bangladesh easily reached the target. They went 101 runs (2 wickets; 24.3 overs). The 50-over match was played at the Jadavar University Complex.

On November 27th, Afghanistan will once again play against India, which will be the 6th match of the tournament. The Final will be played on November 29th.

2nd match: India defeats Afghanistan by 33 runs
3rd match: Bangladesh defeats Afghanistan by 4 wickets
4th match: India defeats Bangladesh by 4 wickets
