1TV: The United States on Monday imposed sanctions on Afghanistan-based Nejaat Social Welfare Organization for providing financial and logistical support to Islamic State militant group. Two of the organization’s senior officials, Sayed Habib Ahmad Khan and Rohullah Wakil, were also targeted for supporting activities of IS’s Afghan affiliate, US Treasury Department said.
