8am: Local sources in Panjshir province say a Taliban Ranger vehicle was targeted by a magnetic mine in the province. In an interview with Hasht-e Subh, Sibghatullah Ahmadi, a spokesman for the Resistance Front, claimed that seven Taliban members had been killed and several others wounded in the blast.
