Abducted Red Crescent Doctors Freed In Northern Afghanistan
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty July 16, 2016 Three doctors working for the Afghan Red Crescent Society who were abducted by militants in northern Afghanistan have been freed. Zabihullah Amani, a spokesman for the governor of Sar-e Pul Province, said on July 16 that tribal elders and Afghan security forces worked together to free the doctors.
