Former Afghan female Air Force pilot wins asylum in U.S.

1TV: Niloofar Rahmani, who became Afghanistan’s first female fixed-wing pilot in the country’s air force, has been granted asylum in the United States. Rahmani requested asylum in U.S. after completing 18-month training course in the country. She won asylum after 16-month wait. Click here to read more (external link).
