8am: Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a few countries, including India and Iran, evacuated some of their citizens. However, the fate of Afghan nationals and students stranded in Ukraine remains uncertain. The present officials in Kabul announced yesterday that they would try to move Afghan citizens and students to a safe place, but no details have been released about the outcome of these efforts.
